Introduction

JavaScript is used in millions of Web pages to improve the design, validate forms, and much more. JavaScript can also be used in countless ways to enhance ANGEL courses. JavaScript was designed to add interactivity to HTML pages.

Although you cannot use other programming languages such as PHP or ASP within the ANGEL system, JavaScript still works just fine. If you have experience with JavaScript and feel you can dive right in and use it within ANGEL to accomplish what you want, great! Have at it. It is more likely that you either don't know much (if any) JavaScript and/or aren't sure how it might be useful within ANGEL.

We have put together this collection of pages on the topic to show you a few of the ways we have used JavaScript in our ANGEL projects and give you suggestions for how you might use it too.
