Disabling Tabs
It is simple in ANGEL to turn a tab off and hide it from all users. The Tab Setting Manager is used to do this.
- Click on the Tools tab
- Under Course Settings, click Tab Settings to open the Tab Settings Manager
- Each of your Tabs is listed.
- In the Viewable By column next to the Tab you want to Disable choose Disabled to cause a tab to stop showing up for all users.
Warning: Be careful not to disable the Tools tab. Once disabled, the Tools tab is difficult to re-enable you can't change course settings without it.
*** If you have mistakenly disabled your Tools tab.
--Use a separate window to log into ANGEL. Click here to open a new window you can use.
--Log in to ANGEL.
--Enter the course where you disabled the Tools tab.
--Copy and pasted the URL from below into the Location field of the window with your ANGEL course.
