It is simple in ANGEL to turn a tab off and hide it from all users. The Tab Setting Manager is used to do this.

  1. Click on the Tools tab
  2. Under Course Settings, click Tab Settings to open the Tab Settings Manager
  3. Each of your Tabs is listed.
  4. In the Viewable By column next to the Tab you want to Disable choose Disabled to cause a tab to stop showing up for all users.

Warning: Be careful not to disable the Tools tab. Once disabled, the Tools tab is difficult to re-enable you can't change course settings without it.
