Enable tabs & control who sees them

By default all of your tabs will be visible, so you won't need to enable them. It is simple in ANGEL to control the visibility of tabs to different user types. The Tab Setting Manager is used to do this.

  1. Click on the Manage tab
  2. Under Course Settings, click Tab Settings to open the Tab Settings Manager
  3. Each of your Tabs is listed.
  4. Use the drop down menu next to each tab to set the visibility to the desired level.

The same steps can be used to enable a tab that has been disabled.

Example: You could set the Calendar tab's Viewable Column to Course Assistants to make it visible by Course Assistants and everyone with greater access level permissions than them.

Important Note: If you have disabled your tools tab you will not be able to enable it again without the assistance of your ANGEL administrator.
