Introduction

The ANGEL Action Editor is an advanced tool that allows editors to create or modify actions to be triggered after a defined event, such as the submission or grading of a quiz. For example, a student might receive a custom message (action) when first accessing the quiz (event) or the student might gain access to previously locked material (action) if their quiz grade is above 80%.

The Action Editor can be accessed by clicking the Lessons tab, clicking the Settings button for a particular lesson item, selecting the Advanced option (located on the toolbar), choosing the Automate tab, and clicking the Action Editor hyperlink (located below the Actions text area, see Figure 1 below). Actions can only be assigned to pages where you see the Action Editor hyperlink.
